I am here, in the moment, as the cheers of crowds roar, lights flashing deliciously into differing patterns and frequencies, flowing from one color to the next. The vibrations traveling through my body, I feel alive.

It was a spur of the moment decision, as I found the tickets two days prior, In a ditch of effort to numb some of the negative emotions I was reeling that day. Maybe influenced by the shallows of social media, I booked those tickets in hopes of reliving the experience of attending my first concert. My first journey.

Its was the grand enlightenment I needed. The motion that sound provides, both in mind and in body, transcendent. The fact that others were there for the same reason was assuring for sure. Even though we live in a world of great disconnect I was terribly overjoyed to see little moments of unity. A great fire that instils in hearts, regardless of race, religion, or political views, away from the abstract. Music is the connection that we need, to feel present, connected, and alive. We must allow these senseless sounds to drive not only ourselves, but others too. For loud are the speakers, loud are our hearts also.
